Hasn't changed in 10 years. Very dated and some displays have missing or broken parts

Brilliant place for young people (and older too!) had such a lovely afternoon with my grandson, he's 2 years but there was loads to do. We visited the cafe and had lunch, very good food for the price and lovely staff. A very good day out.

Took our little boy (2 years old) was nice place to visit lots to see and explore but did feel some of the exhibitions could be more interactive lots of buttons to press and information to read which was more for older ages. Would like to see more involved experiences that get kids moving and interacting with space. The motion rooms where you interact with projection screens was fun and engaging for little one but when you want less screen time with there was more hands on apparatus to get bodies moving and problem solving to get them thinking too... food in cafe was decent and quick service

They sold more tickets than they have capacity for. However, the kids love it. The ice cream was delicious

Best thing is the cost of a ticket automatically allows you to visit for free for the whole year as an annual pass is built into it. Very good but busy cafe. Most of the ground floor is aimed at younger kids with zones such as bank, shop, garage, etc. Definitely check out the auditorium as there are usually events on there. First floor show the workings of a typical house as well as biology.

I came here as a child and loved it, but came back for the first time with my 8 year old nephew and he just wasn’t interested in most of the displays. They’re just flashy buttons and sounds so the kids there just run around pressing all the buttons at the same time and not understanding what they are for or representing and what kid wants to stand at each display as you explain what each button is for etc. It’s absolute chaos in there! Most of the children there were under 5 but I would say any older than that and it’s a bit boring!

It is a good educational place aimed towards younger children (10 and under)
It includes indoor and outdoor play and has a café inside

Usually an enjoyable experience for the kids, but avoid in half term.
Despite bookable slots, it’s been let to get so unbearably busy that kids are queuing ages for each activity, making it extremely frustrating and boring for them.

Came this week in the Feb half term holidays and it was far too busy! Could barely get on anything or see anything as there was ques to get in everywhere. The crafts place had a sign to say please wait here we are full. The post office was queuing out of the door, the little shop you couldn't even get in there! Honestly not enjoyable and will not be returning in the holidays again.

Overpriced and ridiculously overcrowded with hardly any room to walk or sit, was terrible for my autistic son, no visitor number control, save your money and go to a free museum like Leeds Museum.
